Thank you for your interest in repair services with Fix Pro Audio! I’m thrilled to continue helping you get your gear running its best — especially now as I transition to caring for my new baby son. Your projects mean a lot to me, and I’m committed to giving each one the attention it deserves. That said, I’ve dramatically reduced my work hours, and my repair backlog is significant right now.
Because of this, my shop is currently scheduling longer lead times and offering premium-level service for clients who are happy to entrust me with their cherished equipment. Please read on for details about my process, timelines, and pricing.
Gear Repair Process Summary:
1. Schedule Drop-Off Contact Jon Sosa to arrange a drop-off date or arrange shipping.
2. Pay Diagnostic/Bench Fee All repairs begin with a bench/diagnostic fee of $200. This covers my time to fully assess and test your unit. If the issue is really simple (broken wire for example) then this may cover the entire repair!
3. Get Placed in Repair Queue Upon arrival, your gear will be placed in the queue for repair.
4. Receive and Approve Repair Quote After diagnosis, I’ll send you a detailed quote for parts and further labor. No further work begins without your approval.
5. Pickup and Pay Final Quote Once repairs are complete, you’ll be notified to schedule pickup or I’ll arrange shipping back to you (shipping costs added to the final total).

Current Turn Around Times
Due to reduced availability and a significant queue, standard turnaround is currently 3–4 months or more from the date your unit is received. This wait reflects the time required to carefully diagnose, source, and repair high-value gear with meticulous attention to detail.
